Coca-Cola Brings Happiness to Ghana

COCA-COLA HAD kicked off the 'coke side of life' campaign in the country with a memorable press launch at the Golden Tulip Hotel, Accra, Ghana.

Over 170 media personnel from all the major media houses attended the 'happy' launch, where the guests played games and sang to the coke side of life theme "Ghana" song by popular artiste Obrafour.

"We hope to make people's lives happier by encouraging people to see a more positive side of life and become more forward-looking", said Philippe Ayivor, Franchise Manager, Coca-Cola Equatorial Africa Territory. "This is our new campaign .the coke side of life. Our aim is to develop communications in which we can target and reach the young generation."

Snr. Marketing Manager Linda Larbi discussed the rationale of the campaign and explained the essence of the coke side of life - infectious, optimism, happiness, and living in full colour.

The Coke side of life imagery and the television commercial "Happiness factory" was unveiled at the press conference. The commercial now airing in Ghana, shows a young man inserting a coin into a Coca-cola vending machine. Viewers follow the coin and are transported to a fantasyland of whimsical characters and spectacular landscapes - all part of the happiness factory.

This is just the beginning of our journey on the coke side of life in Ghana, said Linda Larbi.
